Verify recovery assets

Recovery Advisor executes as a batch utility and can be scheduled to run on a regular basis. When Recovery Advisor detects a condition, it sets an elevated return code. For more information, see Recovery-Advisor-function-BMC-AMI-Backup-and-Recovery-for-IMS.

If you do not have BMC AMI Backup and Recovery for IMS, you can use the Check Assets function to verify recovery assets. The Check Assets function determines whether all required elements for a recovery to current are available. You can schedule this function to run on a regular basis as a batch job. The function sets an elevated return code when it finds that assets are missing or are not cataloged. For more information, see Check-recovery-assets-Recovery-Manager.
