Product functions, utilities, and features

This section describes the Recovery Manager (RMGR) functions, utilities, and features.

Note

This space refers to the collection of Recovery Manager functions, utilities, features, and components simply as RMGR.

RMGR works with groups of recoverable objects. After you have defined a group, you can select it for processing by an RMGR function. RMGR offers interactive and batch methods for initiating most functions and an interactive method for monitoring the status of function requests. RMGR also offers batch utilities for performing additional recovery management tasks.
