Using PCPRRELD

The PCPRRELD program of the Data Restructure utility restructures the data and loads the restructured records into the database.

This topic describes the system flow of PCPRRELD, defines the JCL and control statements for executing it, and provides examples for executing it.

Note

If you have the BMC LOADPLUS product, you should use it along with a user exit routine for better performance. However, if you choose to use PCPRRELD because you have existing JCL to execute the DBT Segment Restructure utility, the LOADPLUS Load Program Interface (LPI) can help improve PCPRRELD performance with only a few minor changes to the existing JCL. The use of the LPI is optional.
