KEYSOUT


During the validation of HDAM and HIDAM databases, PCP can write the root segment keys to an external data set.

You can then use this data set as input to the HDAM Randomizer Analysis utility.

Using-the-HDAM-Randomizer-Analysis-utility describes the HDAM Randomizer Analysis utility and shows how to use the KEYSOUT option in conjunction with the KEYSOUT DD statement.

If PCP is concurrently processing multiple databases in one job step, specify the KEYSOUT option on one CHECK statement only.

You can set the KEYSOUT option on the CHECK control statement only.

Values

Specify one of the following values:

  • YES or Y

    Write the root segment keys to the data set defined by the KEYSOUT DD statement.

  • NO or N

    Do not write root segment keys.
