NOTIFY

The NOTIFY keyword is valid with the Prefix Resolution/Update function.

You can specify this option in a Prefix Resolution/Update function global options module or in PLUSIN. The following table describes the keyword.

Notify the specified user ID that a pertinent event has occurred.

NOTIFY(userID)

Internal default: None

Use this option to specify the TSO users to be notified when pertinent events occur within the Prefix Resolution/Update function.

Warning

Note

If you have TSO 1.4 or later and you want to notify TSO users, you must have a Database Utilities Subsystem (DBUSS) named DBUZ installed and started. The the Installation System documentation provides information on the DBUSS.
