CAGRP keyword


Use the CAGRP keyword to identify the name of a valid change accumulation (CA) group recorded in DBRC.

When you specify the CAGRP keyword, the utility generates image copy data sets for each data set group and area defined in the change accumulation group.

When you specify a group with the CAGRP keyword, DBRC must be active, as specified with DBRC(Y).

Use the CAGRP keyword in conjunction with the following keyword:

  • FUNC—If you use the CAGRP keyword, do not include the NAME and DBDSGRP keywords.
    You may be able to specify VIC(Y) in conjunction with the CAGRP keyword to build a virtual image copy of all indexes (primary and secondary) defined as part of the change accumulation group. Indexes that are not defined to the change accumulation group, but whose primary database is defined, are also processed. For more information, see Creating-virtual-image-copies.

For the value, specify the CA group name (1-8 alphanumeric characters).
