WAIT—wait for task completion

Use the WAIT control statement to request the utility to wait for all tasks preceding this statement to complete before initiating the processing for any subsequent tasks.

If the WAIT control statement is used within a group—the GROUP control statement—the utility waits for all tasks preceding it in the group to complete before initiating the processing for any subsequent tasks within the group.
