Message severity levels

Fast Path Online Suite products issue messages with a message number followed by a letter suffix to indicate the type or severity of the message. The following table lists the suffix types that can be specified (changed) for a dynamically modifiable message.

I

none

indicates an informational message

W

indicates a warning message

A low-severity problem exists, and processing continues.

E

8

indicates an error message

A problem exists, but processing continues.

C

12

indicates a critical problem exists that must be corrected

If possible, processing continues.
