Selecting database segments

Segments that are selected during input processing are forwarded to output processing for segment formatting.

By default, all root segments and their dependent segments are selected, excluding SDEP segments. You can modify the selection of segments by using the optional INCLUDE and EXCLUDE subcommands. You can also use several keywords with the INCLUDE and EXCLUDE subcommands to further refine the selection process.
