Starting the BISS as a Batch Job

Use the following procedure to start the BMC IMS Software Server (BISS) as a batch job.

  1. Locate ?bmcihlq.CNTL(BMCISERV).
  2. Edit the JCL using the instructions in the member.
    1. Locate ?bmcihlq.CNTL($SERVER).
    2. Edit the JCL using the instructions in the member.
    3. Type SUB on the command for the member and press Enter.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
