Specifying search arguments in a DBD library

You can use one or more search arguments to qualify the search for members.

A search argument consists of a keyword, a relational operator, and a comparative value. Underscores in the keyword and value fields are pad characters only. Specify search arguments in the following format:

keyword ro value bo keyword ro value bo...

keyword is a parameter coded in the DBD, ro is a relational operator, value is the parameter value coded in the DBD, and bo is a Boolean operator.

When you specify multiple search arguments, DI+ evaluates them in sets and ignores any arguments that do not contain a keyword. A set of keywords is one or more keywords that are connected by AND and delineated by OR. When conducting a Boolean operation, you use OR to divide keyword arguments into sets of keywords. DI+ will select only DBDs that pass all keyword tests within any set of keywords. If you do not specify any arguments, DI+ displays a list of all members in the library.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
