Listing entries
By selecting process 5 (List), you can display or change registration entries from a list. The panel displayed depends on the values you entered on the DPICDS Administration panel for the selection criteria and for the record level.
If you specified blanks for all of the selection criteria for a registration entry and All for record level, all registration records in the DPICDS are listed. If you selected a specific system, database or segment entry, only the records for the entry specified are listed. If you specified an asterisk (*) for IMS ID, a valid name for database, and left the segment field blank, all segment entries for that database specified are listed.
If you partially qualified the list by entering a portion of a name suffixed with an asterisk, such as HDAM*, then all names beginning with the characters specified are included.
If you provided a DBDLIB on the DATA PACKER/IMS primary menu (see Using-the-DATA-PACKER-IMS-Primary-Menu), segments are listed in hierarchical order. If you did not provide a DBDLIB, segments are listed in alphabetical order.
Once the list of records is displayed, you can select records that you want to change or display.
