Displaying entries
By selecting process 3 (Display), you can display the information for system, database, and segment entries. The panels displayed depend on the values you entered on the DPICDS Administration panel for the selection criteria and for the compression and output options.
If you specified selection criteria for a system entry and specified Y for both compression and output options, a series of four panels are displayed for compression, message, statistics, and snap dump options. If you specified selection criteria for database or segment entries, and specified Y for both compression and output options, three panels are displayed for compression, message, and statistics options; the panel for snap dump options is not displayed.
For any type of entry, system, database, and segment, if you specified Y for compression options and N for output options, only the panel for compression options is displayed. If you specified N for compression options and Y for output options, only the panels for message and statistics options are displayed, and for system entries, the snap dump options panel is also displayed.
For compression options, the content of the panel displayed varies according to the selection criteria specified and the type of process being performed. For database entries, for example, the FSS is displayed, and for segment entries, the MSL or FPS is displayed.
