EXPAND

The Trial Compression Analysis report provides CPU statistics for data compression.

Include the EXPAND keyword to also obtain CPU statistics for data expansion. For an example of the report, see Trial-Compression-Analysis-report.

Note

Since additional statistics are being gathered, using this keyword causes the Trial utility to run for a longer period of time.

Usage

Optional keyword valid on the SYSTEM, DATABASE, and SEGMENT control statements.

Do not include CPU expansion statistics on the Trial Compression Analysis report.

Values

YES and NO are implied values for the EXPAND keyword. Including the keyword implies EXPAND(YES). Omitting the keyword implies EXPAND(NO).
