Global Options
Use the Global Options panel to select a global options module to update.
You can display and/or update an existing set of options (for the given suffix) or create a new set of options based on user-defined or product-defined default values. To view the list of all global options modules in the current options library, leave the Options suffix field blank and press Enter to display the Options Module List panel (see Options-Module-List).

The following commands are valid from any Global Options panel:
SAVE = Save updates COPY = Copy values from another module
CANcel = Exit without saving RESet = Reset to the last saved values
DEFault = Set to defaults PROFile = Display/update profile defaults
Confirm SAVE of global options? N (Y/N)
Global options library is RDHTLK.LOAD
Use the following fields on this panel.
Field | Description |

Options suffix | Type the suffix of the options module you want to access. To create a new options module, type a new suffix name, make your changes to the values displayed on the subsequent panels, and save your session. The suffix name can be up to four characters, and when it is stored in the global options library, it will be prefixed with CAP@. You can also blank-out this field to display the Options Module List panel (see Options-Module-List), which lists all existing options modules. |
Description | Type a description (maximum of 28 characters) of what is contained in the options module. To change a description, type over what currently appears, type SAVE on the Command line, then press Enter. For ISPF Version 2.3 and later, this field supports double-byte character set data. |
Global Options | Type the number of the global options panel you want to use. If you select option 99, the Global Options Keyword Index panel is displayed (Global-Options-Keyword-Index). This panel lets you access a global options panel that contains the specific keyword you want to modify. |
