Using dynamic allocation models

This section explains how to use dynamic allocation models for specifying options that are used during dynamic allocation of output data sets.

The Change Accumulation utility allows the use of dynamic allocation models for output change accumulation data sets, output image copy data sets, and stacked data sets.

Important

If the utility uses a dynamic allocation model to allocate a data set, the utility does not accept values for dynamic allocation keywords that are specified on GLBL, GROUP, and function control statements as overrides for values that are specified in the model. The model must include all keywords that define the attributes that the utility needs for dynamic allocation of an output data set.
