Output change accumulation data set

The output change accumulation data set is the primary output of the change accumulation process.

It contains the consolidated database changes that are merged from the input change accumulation data set and the input logs.

Use the CA keyword to specify that you want to use dynamic or explicit allocation of output change accumulation data sets and to specify the number of copies you want. If you use dynamic allocation, you can specify the name of the dynamic allocation model or stack that you want to use for each copy. If you use explicit allocation, you must specify a ddname (that identifies a DD statement in the job step JCL) for each copy.

You can specify the STKCA keyword for the same purposes as the CA keyword, but the STKCA keyword indicates that the output data sets should be part of a stack. Instead of using the STKCA keyword, you can use the CA keyword and specify the name of a stack that is defined with the STACK control statement. For more information, see Allocating-stacked-data-sets.
