SWMGMTCL keyword

Use the SWMGMTCL keyword to specify the MGMTCLAS (management class) for a new sort work data set.

You can use this keyword if you want SMS to manage the data set.

The utility ignores this keyword if SMS is inactive.

Specify one of the following values:

(Blank) Allocate the data set without a MGMTCLAS specification.

management class name

Use the specified management class name (1 through 8 alphanumeric characters). Your storage administrator defines the allowed MGMTCLAS name.
