SWDATACL keyword


Use the SWDATACL keyword to specify the DATACLAS (data class) for a new sort work data set.

You can use this keyword if you want SMS to manage the data set.

The utility ignores this keyword if SMS is inactive.

Specify one of the following values:

(Blank) Allocate the data set without a DATACLAS specification.

data class name

Use the specified data class name (1 through 8 alphanumeric characters). Your storage administrator defines the allowed DATACLAS name.
