HALDB keyword


Use the HALDB(Y) keyword to establish the processing environment and to process HALDBs.

Important

(CHANGE ACCUMULATION PLUS version 4.5.00 and later) The keyword HALDB(N) is obsolete and will be automatically changed to HALDB(Y).

HALDB(Y) is the default. The default environment exploits enhanced processing capabilities of BMC database utilities and is used for all database types (not just HALDBs).

HALDB(value)

Values

Specify one of the following values:

Y

Establish an enhanced processing environment that is suitable for all database types, including HALDBs.

N

Do not process HALDBs and do not establish an enhanced processing environment. Use Classic database utility interfaces instead.
