CAVOLSER keyword

The CAVOLSER keyword specifies a list of one or more volume serial identifiers to use when you dynamically allocate new change accumulation output data sets.

If you use this keyword, CAVOLCNT has no meaning and the Change Accumulation utility ignores it. Also, this keyword has no meaning if the data set already exists.

Warning

Important

You can specify no more than five volume serial identifiers when you use this keyword to allocate stacked change accumulation data sets—STKCA.

1-6 alphanumeric characters. The volume serial identifier. You can specify a string of up to 64 characters; separate each volume serial identifier with a comma.
