BMC Image Copy utility

The functions of this utility produce various types of backups, including batch image copies, online (fuzzy) image copies, incremental image copies, copies of image copies, Snapshot Copies, and Instant Snapshot copies. For more information, seeIMAGE COPY PLUS documentation.

To produce Snapshot Copies and Instant Snapshot copies, the Image Copy utility works with the SNAPSHOT UPGRADE FEATURE (SUF) for IMS component, which is included with the Image Copy utility at no additional charge, to take advantage of the features of intelligent storage devices.
