Commands (control statements)
You must provide one or more control statements (commands) in the data set specified in the NSMSYSIN DD statement. Each control statement consists of a command and a variable number of operands.
The syntax rules for these control statements are discussed in Syntax Rules for NSMSYSIN Control Statements. The control statement data set is completely parsed and validated before any commands are executed. After execution of the commands begins, the commands are executed in the order of their appearance (FIFO) in the control statement data set. A start and end message (time stamped) is generated for each command executed and placed into the NSMLOG data set.
