Starting a CAS

You can instruct BCSS to start a CAS only when a previous attempt to start a CAS by BCSS fails because of a JCL error.

To start a CAS

  1. Issue the following command:bcssid CAS START
  2. Check the system log to ensure that the command has been completed successfully.If successful, BCSS responds with messages that indicate that it has started a CAS.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
