AMBLIST + Load Module Dates

Whenever details about a load module are required, the IBM AMBLIST utility provides a decomposition of the load module records. COPE provides an application in which load modules are scanned and a determination of the linkedit date and whether the module uses DB2 is extracted and displayed. If greater detail is required, a series of selections may be made. AMBLIST JCL is generated and submitted for processing.

The application is accessed by typing LOAD on the primary COPE menu, the following menu (shown in the following figure) displays.

Note the use of the member selection mask specification. When pressing Enter, the following display of the load module linkedit date and DB2 usage is shown in the following figure. This panel may be used to select members for AMBLIST JCL generation, by entering an S next to the member name.
