Logical System (Lsys) Selection

This section explains what Lsys (Logical System) a transaction or BMP program runs in, within a Psys (Physical System). The main complicating factors are:

  1. MPPs can switch transactions to BMPs, or vice versa
  2. Non-COPE MPPs or BMPs can switch to COPE MPPs or BMPs, or vice versa
  3. In an MSC environment, transactions can switch from one Psys to another
  4.  In a Fast Path environment, routing considerations apply
