Using the BMC AMI System Administration for IMS interface - MSC Remote LTERM tab
- Click the Pin icon on the top to get the list of active IMS subsystems. You can pin on one or more IMSs from this list by clicking the Pin icon and selecting the required IMS subsystem.
- Select an IMS subsystem from the list of pinned active subsystems.
Select the MSC Remote LTERM tab. The MSC Remote Lterms table is displayed similar to the table shown below.
You can also provide the name of the MSC Remote LTERM to display using the wild card characters or by searching using Filters.
You can select one or more entries in the table and perform actions like start, stop, reload, and delete databases . Select All allows to select all the listed entries. Optionally, you can enter the name of the MSC Remote LTERM to search in the text box .
Creating MSC remote LTERM
- To create an MSC remote LTERM on an IMS subsystem, select the required IMS subsystem, and on the MSC Remote LTERM tab, click Create. The Create MSC Logical Link Path dialog box is displayed as shown below.
- In the MSC remote lterm name field, specify a name for the remote LTERM.
- In the MSC logical link path name field, specify the MSC logical link path to which the remote LTERM is to be assigned.
- To start the remote LTERM after it is created, select Start the Remote Lterm after creation.
- Click Add to IMS to create the MSC remote LTERM.
Editing MSC remote LTERM
- To edit an MSC remote LTERM on an IMS subsystem, select the required IMS subsystem, and on the MSC Remote LTERM tab, select the required MSC remote logical terminal, and click Edit. The Edit MSC Remote Lterm dialog box is displayed as shown below.
- Edit the required options as explained in the procedure above for creating MSC remote LTERMs, and click Revise to save the revised options.
