Use the CHK SINDEX option to control

’s verification of the secondary indexes defined for a database. Verifying only the pointers in the index is no assurance that the index is correct (for example, a missing index record would not be detected): therefore,
Pointer Checker
performs two types of verifications for secondary indexes:
- Number of secondary index records (index record count)
- Pointers in the index records
