Partitioned databases
You can use following IMS-provided utilities with partitioned databases:
- Image Copy
- Recovery
- Timestamp Recovery
- Database Backout
- Database Pre-Reorganization
- Scan
- Prefix Resolution
- BMC Prefix Update for IMS
- HISAM Unload/Reload
- Partial Database Reorganization
You can also use Database Unload/Reload to reorganize partitioned databases if you use DL/I to unload/reload the data. (The IMS utilities have the same requirement.) You may have to modify unload/reload utilities that do not use DL/1 to reorganize partitioned databases.
