Using a DEDB randomizing routine

Randomizing routines for DEDB databases can also be used for partitioned databases. There are advantages to using the DEDB interface:

  • The randomizing routine selects the partition to use
  • No maximum RAA size

The randomizing routine must be reentrant. Registers are used to pass information instead of the DMBDACS CSECT. The routine is entered in AMODE 31.
