Using the INTERVAL Control Statement panel to build the INTERVAL control statement
To access and work with the INTERVAL Control Statement panel
- Access the Build JCL panel.For instructions, see Using-the-JCL-menu-to-access-JCL-functions.
In the Control Statements field to the left of the INTERVAL label, enter S.The INTERVAL Control Statement panel is displayed below:

Log sequence number ________________- In the Start type field, enter the value that will be used to generate the START keyword on the INTERVAL control statement.This keyword identifies the beginning of a range of log records to be considered as candidates for the record selection process. - In the Stop type field, enter the value that will be used to generate the STOP keyword on the INTERVAL control statement.This keyword identifies the end of a range of log records to be considered as candidates for the record selection process. For more information, see STOP-keyword-for-the-INTERVAL-control-statement.
