Using the RECON Input panel to build the RECON-related keywords
To access and work with the RECON Input panel

In the Specify input field to the left of the RECON label, enter S.The RECON Input panel is displayed below.

RECON 3 ______________________________________________- (optional) In the RECON n field, enter the data set name of a RECON data set to examine during the analysis job.The ISPF interface uses this field to generate the RECON keyword. For more information, see RECON-keyword-for-the-ANALYZE-control-statement.
- (optional) In the IMSIDs field, enter the IMSID of each IMS system that created log records to be analyzed.The ISPF interface uses this field to generate the IMSID keyword. For more information, see IMSID-keyword-for-the-ANALYZE-control-statement.
- (optional) In the Job names field, enter the job names associated with the DLI log data sets. If you do not specify any job names, all DLI log data sets associated with the RECON are used.The ISPF interface uses this field to generate the JOBNAME keyword. For more information, see JOBNAME-keyword-for-the-ANALYZE-control-statement.
- (optional) In the Maximum logs options field, enter values that control the number of log data sets that Log Analyzer tries to process.The ISPF interface uses this field to generate the MAXLOGS keyword. For more information, see MAXLOGS-keyword-for-the-ANALYZE-control-statement.
(optional) Under the Log type section, specify one of the two log types to be used as follows:
- SLDS—Select SLDS to use the SLDS associated with the RECON as the log type.
- DLI logs—Select DLI to use DLI logs associated with the RECON and the log type.
The ISPF interface uses this field to generate the PRILOG keyword. For more information, see PRILOG-keyword-for-the-ANALYZE-control-statement. Leaving all the fields blank will set the default value for SLDS.
- (optional) Under the Additional RECON data sets section, In the RECON n field, enter the data set name of an additional RECON data set to examine during the analysis job.
The ISPF interface uses this field to generate the RECON keyword. For more information, see RECON-keyword-for-the-ANALYZE-control-statement.
