Options for building journal report JCL

When you select the Build option from the Journal Reports panel, the Journal Report options panel opens, enabling you to select input for a journal-report batch job.

Journal Prefix

A data set name or name prefix for dynamically generated journal files

Data set name or names to be used in report generation

Energizer Load Library

(Required) Location of the BMC AMI Energizer for IMS Connect product load library (IPRLIB)

Start Date/Start Time

START date and time for which records are to be printed

End Date/End Time

END date and time for which records are to be printed

Record Type

The following table shows the valid record types:

Record	Description
TRAN	Transactions
EVNT	IMS Connect events
HIST	Historical
STAT	Statistics
ALL	All of the above If you do not select a record type, Energizer builds a report for all record types.

You can place the cursor on an input field and press F4 to select from a list of journal types.

Report Type

The following table shows the valid report types:

HIST	History Report
DUMP	Unformatted Dump Report If you do not select a report type, Energizer generates a DUMP report.
CMDS	Command Audit Report
EXCP	Exceptions Report

I2IR	IMS Connect to IMS Connect Report
MSCR	IMS Connect MSC Report
ODBR	ODBM Activity Report
RTIP (PTF BQQ5284 applied)	Resume TPIPE Report

Time zone

The time zone for report output

The default is LOCAL.

Carriage control

Whether to use carriage control characters

The default is Yes (use carriage control characters).

Lines per page

The default is 60.

Job card

The job card information needed to run the batch job in your environment
