Setting up IMSID options for BMC AMI Defender for IMS
Specify the library to contain the IMSID options (a newly allocated load library, or an existing load library that is in the IMS control region //STEPLIB concatenation):
- From the Main Menu, select IMSID options to edit the IMSID options.
On the IMSID Options Entry panel, enter the options library and IMSID as shown below, and press Enter.

/ Enable WTO trace
F1=Help F3=Exit F12=Cancel- BMC recommends a value 100 for the Number of buffers field.
- Use the Log code field if the Defender for IMS needs to log information to the IMS Log. The default value is F8.
Optionally, to have the WTO trace active for the IMS control region, select the Enable WTO Trace field. This causes a few additional messages to be written to the IMS control region joblog during startup and termination, but it does not affect the operation of the Defender for IMS.
