Mapping a PSB


The following list summarizes the process of mapping a PSB.

  1. On the BMC Software IMS Full Function Database Products Menu, select option 12. Database Integrity displays the Database Integrity primary menu.
  2. Select option 1. Database Integrity displays the PSB Options panel.
  3. Select option 2. Database Integrity displays the Library Specification panel.
  4. Type the PSB name (optional). Type or verify the PSB library name. Database Integrity takes the following action:
    • Displays the PSB Map Summary panel if you provided the PSB name
    • Displays the Directory panel if you did not provide the PSB name. Select the PSB name from the list. Database Integrity displays the PSB Map Summary panel.
  5. Take one of the following actions:
    • Place the cursor on a DBD name and press F2. Database Integrity displays the DBD Map panel.
    • Leave the cursor on the Command line and press F2. Database Integrity displays the Database PSB Map panel.
    • Place the cursor an a PCB line and press F2. Database Integrity displays the Database PSB Map panel for the PCB.
  6. View the information. You can use the function keys to access related functions. Database Integrity performs the related function as requested.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
