Mapping a PSB
- On the BMC Software IMS Full Function Database Products Menu, select option 12. Database Integrity displays the Database Integrity primary menu.
- Select option 1. Database Integrity displays the PSB Options panel.
- Select option 2. Database Integrity displays the Library Specification panel.
- Type the PSB name (optional). Type or verify the PSB library name. Database Integrity takes the following action:
- Displays the PSB Map Summary panel if you provided the PSB name
- Displays the Directory panel if you did not provide the PSB name. Select the PSB name from the list. Database Integrity displays the PSB Map Summary panel.
- Take one of the following actions:
- Place the cursor on a DBD name and press F2. Database Integrity displays the DBD Map panel.
- Leave the cursor on the Command line and press F2. Database Integrity displays the Database PSB Map panel.
- Place the cursor an a PCB line and press F2. Database Integrity displays the Database PSB Map panel for the PCB.
- View the information. You can use the function keys to access related functions. Database Integrity performs the related function as requested.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
