Interpreting the map reports

Database Integrity produces the same Map reports whether you are using the ISPF or batch interface.

This section discusses the reports as they appear online. The discussion also applies to the batch report: however, the commands and function keys are not available to initiate related tasks. In batch, when you select a PSB or PSB-type ACB, Database Integrity maps all of the database PCBs in the PSB.

The Map report follows the standard convention for diagramming hierarchical databases. You read a map from top to bottom and left to right. Segments that are related through an index or logical relationship also appear on the report.
