Limiting the range of members

You can place a beginning and/or ending limit on the range of members Database Integrity selects for cross referencing.

Use the LOACB, LODBD, LODMB, LOFMT, LOMSG, and/or LOPSB keyword to set a lower limit. Use the HIACB, HIDBD, HIDMB, HIFMT, HIMSG, and/or HIPSB keyword to set an upper limit.

Database Integrity processes the library beginning with the member name that is greater than or equal to the value specified with the LOxxx value (where xxx is the type of control block), and ending before processing the first member name that is greater than the value of the HIxxx keyword.

The value you specify for the LOxxx keyword can be a complete member name, a partial name, or a pattern (as described in Using-patterns-to-specify-member-names). The value of the HIxxx keyword can be a full member name or a partial name.

If you do not limit the report range, Database Integrity cross references all members in the input libraries.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
