Coding the LBLSHOW or LBLDLET statement

The LBLSHOW control statement tells Database Integrity to display information about the selected labels. The LBLDLET control statement tells Database Integrity to delete the selected labels.

Particular labels are identified by the DBD name of the database for which the label was generated, along with an optional expiration date that further qualifies the label you want to select. For more information about the syntax of the LBLGEN statement, see Coding-the-LBLCHECK-statement.

To code the LBLSHOW or LBLDLET control statement, specify the following information:

  • The DBD name(s) of the labels to select
  • The expiration date of the label
  • The IMS execution library
  • The label data set
