Coding the LBLGEN statement


The LBLGEN control statement tells Database Integrity the DBDs to use as input, the name of the library that contains them, the IMS ID, and the option values to use.

The following figure shows the syntax of the LBLGEN statement. To code the LBLGEN control statement, specify the following information:

  • The DBD name
  • The control block library
  • The IMS execution library
  • The label data set
  • The label verification options (optional)
  • Whether to replace existing labels (optional)
