Coding the LBLCHECK statement

The LBLCHECK control statement tells Database Integrity to check the information in the selected labels with the information in the corresponding DBDs or DBD-type ACBs. Particular labels are identified by the DBD name of the database for which the label was generated.

The following figure shows the syntax of the LBLCHECK statement.

To code the LBLCHECK control statement, specify the following information:

  • The IMS execution library
  • The label data set
  • The labels to select (selected by DBD)
  • The control block library
