Getting help


Database Integrity provides a series of panels that provide further information about panels, fields, and commands.

You can access these panels at any time by entering the HELP command (F1). You can also view the panels sequentially as a tutorial by selecting option T from any of the control block option menus. Database Integrity displays the help panel that is most closely associated with the current panel.

The Database Integrity help facility follows the standard conventions for ISPF tutorials. The following table shows some of these conventions.

TOC or T

Display the Table of Contents for the tutorial.

 If you enter the HELP command in response to a dialog message, Database Integrity displays the long text of the message, which typically provides a more in-depth explanation of the problem. If you enter the HELP command again, Database Integrity displays the help panel for the current panel.



 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
