Specifying search arguments in a PSB library

You can use one or more search arguments to qualify the search for members.

A search argument consists of a keyword, a relational operator, and a comparative value. Underscores in the keyword and value fields are pad characters only. Specify search arguments in following format:

keyword ro value bo keyword ro value bo

keyword is a parameter coded in the PSB, ro is a relational operator, value is the parameter value coded in the PSB, and bo is a Boolean operator.

When you specify multiple search arguments, Database Integrity evaluates them in sets and ignores any arguments that do not contain a keyword. A set of keywords is one or more keywords that are connected by AND and delineated by OR. When conducting a Boolean operation, you use OR to divide keyword arguments into sets of keywords. Database Integrity will select only DBDs that pass all keyword tests within any set of keywords. If you do not specify any arguments, Database Integrity displays a list of all members in the library.

Important

You can specify only one DBNAME for each PSB search. When Database Integrity finds the first DBNAME parameter, it considers all other keywords to be additional details about that DBNAME.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
