Overview of copying and deleting MFS members

Without Database Integrity, copying and deleting MFS members can be a difficult task when you need to select all members of a format set.

A format set is a device format definition and all message descriptors and operator control table definitions that refer to the device format as their source. Since MFS libraries can be very large, and since MFS employs unusual naming conventions, it is a time-consuming and error-prone process to identify the members in the format set and create the control statements to copy or delete them.
