Overview of the DBU operating environment

You can display, set, and update options relating to your operating environment by using the DBU Operating Environment panels.

To access the DBU Operating Environment Primary Menu

  1. Type S next to DBU Supplemental Utilities on the BMC Software IMS DBU Product Selection Menu panel.
  2. Select 3 on the IMS Database Supplemental Utilities panel.

  3. Press Enter.

                                DBU Operating Environment
     Command ===> ___________________________________________________________

     Select one of the following. Then press Enter.

       _ 1. Display current Operating environment
         2. Display and update DBU LIBDEF table
         3. Display and update DBU LIBDEF variables
         4. Set DBU online print options
         5. Display and update Jobcard options
         6. Display and set temporary file allocation unit
         7. Set Profile options for screen attributes

    choice entry

    Type one of the following options and press Enter:

    1. Display current operating environment.
    2. Display and update DBU LIBDEF table.
    3. Display and update DBU LIBDEF variables.
    4. Set DBU online print options.
    5. Display and update job card options.
    6. Display and set temporary file allocation unit
    7. Set profile options for screen attributes.
