Use this command to create a new project.

Keyword

Description

ID

(required) The ID assigned to a new project

RECON_HASH

(required) Character hex representation of the "recon hash" for the recon in the CPC repository

IMSID

(required) Four-character ID of the IMSID where the project should reside

PUBLIC

(required) Y/N to control whether the project is "public". Public projects are readable (not writable) by any user

NAME

(required) Up to 64 character "name" of the project. Any EBCDIC displayable characters are valid

DESC

(required) Up to 128 character "description" of the project. Any EBCDIC displayable characters are valid

HLQ

(required) Up to 32 character high level qualifier for project datasets

Note

  • The report generated to SYSOUT will show the ID that is assigned to the new project.
  • The Owner and Creator of the new project will be the user that executed the batch step.
