Using the Buffer Pool Editor
- From the main screen, click Apps.
- From the Tune box, click Buffer Pool Editor.
- Select the required IMS Plex and the IMS ID for which you want to manage the buffer pool properties.
- Click Refresh Pools to refresh pools. This displays the buffer pool with the details as shown in the following figure.
- Select a row from the buffer pool. The editor displays all the properties of the buffer pool (for a Full Function buffer pool) as shown below.
- For a Full Function buffer pool:
- You can enter and modify the number of buffers using the Buffers box.
- To save the change, click Commit,
- To export the buffer pool details to a CSV file, click Export CSV.
- For Fast Path buffer pools, you can change the storage limit for the Fast Path 64-bit Buffer Manager. Enter this limit in Bytes KB, or MB in the Above Bar Limit box and click Update.
For Fast Path buffer pools, the editor displays all the properties of the fast path 64-bit buffer manager (if active in this system) as shown below.
