Test the DR plan at the home site

You can set up a DR test environment to verify that your DR process works as planned.

By performing the process in the DR test environment, you can perform the exact recovery process as you planned. Other alternatives to using a DR test environment are running recovery simulation and creating recovery JCL for alternate databases.

As always, when you are performing a DR test at the home site, it is important to be careful and to understand every action that you take.
