Create and execute recovery JCL

This section describes how to use the Recovery Manager (RMGR) Create Recovery JCL function of the 

BMC AMI Backup and Recovery for IMS

 product.

Using the Create Recovery JCL function is an essential step in an application recovery or disaster recovery strategy.

You can initiate the Create Recovery JCL function with the ISPF interface or with the Batch Interface utility. The Create Recovery JCL function builds recovery JCL for the selected group according to the recovery options and information that you have specified. After the function completes, you can use the ISPF interface to edit and submit the created JCL to perform the recovery and related processes.
