LIKE keyword

Use the LIKE keyword to specify the name of an existing SMS data set to use as a model for a new output data set that uses the associated dynamic allocation model.

You can use this keyword if you want to use Storage Management Subsystem (SMS) to manage the data set.

The utility ignores this keyword under any of the following conditions:

  • SMS is inactive,
  • You request stacking for the output data set.
