Displaying VSAM file information


To display the VSAM File Information panel, enter action code S on the Select Restart Data Set Content Type panel. Information about the VSAM files that were open at the time of the checkpoint are displayed on the Display VSAM File Information panel.


Access

Indicates the type of AR/CTL access used for the data set.

The following values are valid:

LOCAL

The data set has used the local VSAM access services.

REMOTE

The data set has used the remote VSAM access services.

Indicates the details of the checkpoint identifier for a selected local VSAM file. 

DATE

Indicates the date at the time of the checkpoint.

TIME

Indicates the time at the time of the checkpoint.

STATUS

Indicates the details of the checkpoint identifier.

Indicates the key that AR/CTL will use when it repositions the data set at restart, where xxx is one of the following values:
